Aluminum is an extremely versatile metal that has many uses. It is used for automobiles, machinery, and even cooking pans. Although aluminum has a tendency to oxidize over time, it can be cleaned using a few simple solutions. The most common way to clean aluminium is with a simple mixture of vinegar and water. This solution can be used on large surfaces, such as a bathtub, and will remove rust and grime. Another method for cleaning aluminium is with a glass cleaner. Use a soft-bristled brush to scrub the surface. If the tarnish is still visible, try applying denatured alcohol. Once the tarnish is removed, you can then buff the surface with a dry cloth. A third method for removing stubborn oxidation is with a commercial aluminum cleaner. These products can be purchased from home improvement stores. They should be applied according to the manufacturer's instructions. Another option is to apply a paste made of cream of tartar and water. Make sure the mixture is not too runny. Apply the paste to the tarnished areas and allow it to sit for five to ten minutes. For more stubborn stains, you can mix baking soda and lemon juice together. The ratio should be roughly one-third baking soda to two-thirds lemon juice. Finally, if you have access to an open tub or sink, you can use boiling water to soak the tarnished aluminum in. If the aluminum is hammered, you may need to let it soak in the tub for a longer period of time. Inquiry us
